How it all started
After spending nearly 20 years in the underground utility construction industry, I felt that I needed a career change.
Some time later, I was managing a Health, Safety & Environmental department for a service company in Alaska's North Slope oilfields while working a multi-week rotational schedule. The work was rewarding, but I was struggling to maintain balance with the needs of my family.
Around this time I needed a tractor, but I wanted it to pay for itself.
I started Done Well Services LLC with the goal of generating enough income to make my tractor payment, but the unexpected happened!
I found my passion for dirt work re-ignited, and projects started coming in as customers recognized the value of my experience in safety, customer service and quality excavation and grading. It got to the point where I had more projects than I could manage during the off-time in my rotational schedule. In 2021, I decided to take the business full time and have added equipment and resources to better serve our customers.
Done Well Services LLC has now formed two divisions. Done Well Dirt Works handles the excavation, grading and site preparation projects, and Done Well Deliveries handles hauling and expediting for our customers.
Continuing education and certifications separate the average contractor from those that want to do the job right.
We keep up the following certifications and others to ensure our customers are getting the best quality for their investments:
- Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST)
- Archaeological Inadvertent Discover Protocol (IDP)
- Certified Erosion & Sediment Control Lead (CESCL)
- OSHA 500/510
- Competent Person Certification in Excavation, Confined Spaces, Fall Protection and Incident Investigation
